I've been on both sides of the audit table. I spent about six years as an Internal Auditor at ICE Futures Europe and a Business Auditor at the NYSE, reviewing the controls other companies claimed to have, and writing up the gaps when they didn't hold up.

After that I moved to the other side: leading SOC 2 readiness at Engageli, an edtech startup where we had to get compliant without slowing down a fast-moving product team. That experience, knowing what auditors actually look for and what it takes to build the controls from the inside, is what I bring to every engagement.

I've been the auditor. Now I help companies build what will actually hold up when the auditor shows up.
